Visiting the Museum
The six million acres of lakes and forests, towns, and villages that are the Adirondack Park surround the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake, New York. The history of the Adirondack Park — the place and its people — is at the heart of the museum's exhibits and programs. We offer a campus-like setting of more than 32 acres with 22 engaging indoor and outdoor exhibits, historic buildings, incredible collections, great gardens, and magnificent views.
The Adirondack Museum is an exceptional destination for vacationers, families, school groups, and group tours, and all those who love the Adirondacks.
